City Basketball Academy 2024 Term 2 registrations are now open. The early morning academy program provides the perfect opportunity for players to further advance their basketball skills and decision making. Catering for all athletes aged 10-17 the program is led by Billy Akalo.
This is suited to players in representative teams or equivalent level.
Under 12s & 14s sessions will be Mondays 6:30 to 7:30am
Under 16s & 18s sessions will be Thursdays 6:30 to 7:30am.
The term 2 program runs from 29th April to 7th July excluding public holidays.
Cost: $160 for the full term.
All players will be required to bring a basketball to each session.

COMETS DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY
This program is aimed at players who are not currently playing representative basketball and would like to make a rep team next season. Players in this program can expect a focus on skill development with an emphasis on learning through playing small sided games and high intensity practice.
COST: $200
TIME: Thursday, 4:30pm to 6:00 pm (1.5 hours)
WHERE: South Sydney High School – Main entrance is on O’Sullivan Avenue – Indoor courts are located in the building next to the outdoor basketball courts.

WHO CAN ATTEND: Boys & Girls aged 10-17 years old with basketball experience who play either local competition or school and are looking to make a representative team next year.
Limited to 20 participants.
All players are to bring your own basketball, a full drink bottle and wear suitable footwear and attire.
